Why do good girls like bad guys?!?

What makes a good girl/guy?

A good girl/guy is respectful and trustworthy. She/he is someone you can count on. She/he is selfless, highly independent, but knows when to accept help or be pampered. She/he is goal-oriented and determined. She/he will work towards making you and keeping you happy. This is the person you introduce to your parents.

So if you have a wild side, what makes you different from a bad girl?

Not playing with people’s emotions. A good girl with a wild side is not looking to manipulate. A good girl is in for the long haul or is at least honest about their intentions.

Is a good guy necessarily a nerd or a herb?

No, not at all. We’re not referring to your stereotypical definition of a good guy who’s socially awkward. I know plenty of guys that are genuinely good guys and I don’t consider them nerds or herbs.

Then what makes a good guy with appeal different from a bad boy?

A bad boy is disrespectful to women, he objectifies women.  He doesn’t give a f*** who he hurts. He’s undependable. Self-absorbed. A bad boy is distant and unattached, he doesn’t try to create relationships with people close to you. A bad boy is lustful. A bad boy is great at manipulation. A bad boy has a distinct trait that initially attracts good girls to them, call it “ruggedness”, “swag”, but he doesn’t read worthless asshole from the get. That was mean …I meant to say he’s simply an empty shell of a human. If you must …have fun with a bad boy…save the feelings for the nice guy (because you will want one once the bad boy is done with you).

Are you normally attracted to good guys or bad guys?

Definitely good guys. I don’t think I’ve ever talked to a “bad boy”, at least not how we’re defining it. I’m not saying I talk to guys that let me walk all over them. That’s just lame! So what does my good guy look like…well he respects me, I can lean on him for support, and to him I am more than just another girl. He’s ambitious and assertive. He’s spontaneous in some aspects and this makes him fun, gives him that edge, but he’s predictable in the sense that I know what I’m getting with him. By no means is he perfect, he makes mistakes, but he realizes his mistakes and attempts to mend them. A good guy cares. My good guy is a good guy with an EDGE.

So why do you think other girls like you end up with bad boys? What attracts them to the douches?

I definitely think girls dig the challenge of a bad boy. He’s an adventure because you just never know with him. The uncertainty can be exciting. Maybe good girls think they can change him, mold him, break him in. The bad guy does possess desired traits and this makes him appealing, but good girls fail or choose not to see his true BAD intentions. With a good guy…you know what you’re getting and that somehow does not sound appealing to some girls. He’s too predictable. A good guy is safe.

So tell me do you think the opposite is true too? Good boys love bad girls?

I think the opposite is situational unlike with women. I think a guy no matter bad or good knows what he wants, when he wants to have fun he stays away from the good girls, but when he’s ready for something more he doesn’t settle for a bad girl or a halfie.

I think guys (girls too) like “the chase” so in that sense I can see a good boy loving a bad girl. She will definitely take him on a wild chase. I have to agree that it is situational when it comes to guys.

What if you’re with a bad girl having fun and now you want more?

You drop her for a good girl. Of course there are exceptions. Some people are suckers, but that’s a personal trait.

So a bad girl is for fun, not the one?

That is the motto I guess.

Any thoughts on bad boys and bad girls?!?

Those normally end up in baby mama drama. This is a recipe for disaster because they can call out one another’s BS, but hey that’s less bad boys/girls for us good people.

Bad girl or the good girl?

Right now, both. I’m a good a guy at heart, but my mind says be bad. I’m honestly tired of being the good guy. It’s a lot easier to act like a dick. I don’t think that as a good guy you should have to compete with the assholes to get a good woman. The old saying is true… nice guys finish last. Women like them some bad guys, so why not join the dark side and save myself the headache and the bullshit?
